Genisom AI Raises Hundreds of Millions of Yuan in Series B Funding

ByMohammed Thaif

Genisom AI has completed a Series B financing round worth hundreds of millions of yuan to expand manufacturing and develop embodied intelligence systems for industrial applications, according to a September 22 report.

The funding was led by Stone Venture of the United Arab Emirates, with participation from Hongshan Capital and industrial investor Neusoft Group. The company did not disclose a precise funding amount or valuation.

Founder and co-CEO Liu Yulong said Genisom AI had produced more than 15,000 embodied intelligent robots by June 2026. Monthly production capacity had increased more than tenfold compared with its average level in 2025.

Established more than two years ago, the Chinese developer has three production bases and four factories. Its robots have entered electricity, petrochemicals, fire protection, security, emergency response and education, supported by more than 500 industry partners.

The company plans to invest in robot hardware, embodied intelligence and task execution. Priorities include improving reliability and cost competitiveness, advancing its Genius Self Driving (GSD) autonomous navigation capability and strengthening performance in demanding industrial environments.

Its research program covers motion intelligence, spatial intelligence, interactive intelligence and swarm intelligence. Genisom AI says its integrated technology approach combines core components, robot bodies, motion control and algorithms to address conditions beyond controlled laboratories.

Liu also identified demand potential in Middle Eastern oil and gas, energy, security and emergency response markets. The UAE-led financing aligns with Genisom AI's plans to expand into international industrial applications.

Following the investment, Genisom AI plans to launch its Universal Gravity initiative. The first phase will offer developers, universities, research institutions and industry partners access to thousands of physical robots and resources worth more than 100 million yuan ($14.9 million).
