AMC Robotics Plans Vietnam Production Line Targeting $30 Million Output by Late 2026

AMC Robotics, a Nasdaq-listed robotics company, plans to operate the first phase of its production line at a new Vietnam factory by the end of 2026, targeting $30 million in annual output.

In a filing with the Nasdaq on September 21, AMC Robotics said the plant, run through wholly owned subsidiary AMCV Company Limited, can build the company's current robots and core modules. Trial production is slated for early 2027, and the maximum capacity can reach tens of millions of modules, the company said.

AMC Robotics expects to grow its Vietnam team to approximately 20 to 25 employees by early 2027, recruiting locally. The company highlighted Vietnam's advantages, including its electronics supply chain, available workforce, proximity to component suppliers, and diverse manufacturing footprint.

AMC Robotics, known for its Kyro quadruped inspection-and-security robot and a warehouse sorting robot, is owned by chairman-CEO Sean Da, who also founded Chinese camera brand Yi, a spinoff of Xiaomi.

AMC Robotics, formerly a security-technology firm founded in 2014, went public in December 2025 through a merger with a special-purpose acquisition company and reported revenue of approximately $6 million for that year.

The planned Vietnam facility marks a significant expansion of the company's manufacturing footprint as it seeks to scale production of its quadruped and warehouse automation platforms for global markets.
