Rockwell Automation and Augury Partner to Advance Industrial AI Maintenance

Rockwell Automation and Augury have announced a strategic technology and go-to-market partnership to help manufacturers improve reliability, maintenance execution, and overall industrial performance through agentic artificial intelligence.

The joint offering integrates Augury's Industrial AI Workforce with Rockwell Automation's AI-enabled portfolio, including the Fiix® computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and FactoryTalk® Optix™, creating a connected workflow from machine condition monitoring to maintenance planning and execution.

A central element of the collaboration is the integration of Augury's Reliability Agent with Rockwell's Fiix MAX, an AI-powered maintenance assistant. Together, the AI agents continuously monitor machine health, identify emerging issues, recommend corrective actions, and convert those recommendations into maintenance workflows and work orders, creating a more connected path from insight to action.

According to Rockwell Automation's 11th annual State of Smart Manufacturing Report, only 43% of collected industrial data is being used effectively. The partnership aims to address this gap by connecting machine health insights and production data, enabling customers to better prioritize and act on improvements most likely to increase plant performance.

The partnership also creates a foundation for agentic workflows, extending the value of industrial AI beyond maintenance and into day-to-day operations. By integrating machine health intelligence with production context, manufacturers can achieve a more connected reliability workflow from early issue detection to continuous improvement.

The initial joint offering is expected to become available in September 2026, with additional availability and commercialization details to be announced closer to launch.
