NeodraDynamics Unveils Neo1 Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Robot with JD Industrial at CIIF 2026

ByMohammed Thaif

NeodraDynamics Robotics Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has jointly unveiled its flagship Neo1 heavy-duty hydraulic robot with JD Industrial at the 2026 China International Industry Fair (CIIF). The 4-meter-class hybrid hydraulic-electric super humanoid is designed to break the inherent performance limitations of pure-electric robots, delivering reliable, high-precision and high-power robotic capabilities for demanding industrial assignments.

Current mainstream humanoid robots rely entirely on electric drive systems, which face bottlenecks in heavy-load and extreme-environment operations. Pure-electric solutions struggle with insufficient power density, limited load capacity, poor shock resistance and weak tolerance to harsh environments, leaving most electric humanoids confined to laboratory demos and lightweight service scenarios.

NeodraDynamics' hydraulic-electric hybrid drive combines the high power density, strong impact resistance and extreme environmental adaptability of self-developed digital hydraulics with the high precision of servo electric drives. The Neo1 is equipped with 41 full-body active degrees of freedom. Except for two forearm rotational joints adopting electric drive, all 39 core joints use self-developed miniature digital hydraulic linear actuators. Weighing only 1kg, a single actuator generates ton-level continuous thrust, supporting a 500kg dual-arm collaborative payload while achieving ±0.005mm repeated positioning accuracy.

Yang Tao, Founder of NeodraDynamics, stated:

"Robots should not merely replicate human forms but surpass human physical limits to create unprecedented operational capabilities. Our hydraulic-electric hybrid base technology solves the fundamental power and durability pain points of robots, enabling embodied intelligence to truly take root in industrial scenarios and empower industrial upgrading."

The platform targets heavy industry applications including heavy component assembly, port heavy load handling, nuclear fuel transfer, deep-sea equipment maintenance, mining and disaster rescue. The joint CIIF exhibition with JD Industrial builds a full-chain commercialization path, leveraging JD Industrial's industrial supply chain and end-user scenario resources to verify industrial landing solutions for hydraulic-electric hybrid robots.

Founded by Tsinghua-background technical experts, NeodraDynamics has built full-stack R&D capabilities for digital hydraulic core components and complete robot platforms. At the ongoing CIIF exhibition, the company is displaying the Neo1 heavy-duty hydraulic robot and core hydraulic-electric hybrid components, conducting real-machine demonstrations and global industrial cooperation negotiations.
