ACE Robotics Unveils Kairos 3.1 Embodied AI Stack at WAIC 2026

ACE Robotics has unveiled Kairos 3.1, its latest embodied AI world model, alongside the Ambient Capture Engine 2.0 and three commercial robotics solutions at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai.
The Shanghai-based robotics company showcased its expanded Physical AI technology stack, connecting world models, robotic hardware, high-density data systems and commercial applications. The announcements focused on moving embodied intelligence from laboratory demonstrations into reliable real-world operations.
Wang Xiaogang, Chairman of ACE Robotics, stated:
"In the digital world, a model error may result in a flawed image or paragraph. In the physical world, an incorrect action can have real consequences. Kairos 3.1 is built around a first-principles approach to embodied world models, helping robots act more reliably in complex and uncertain environments, and accelerating the arrival of physical AI's Kairos moment."
Kairos 3.1 integrates visual perception, language instructions, force and tactile signals and motion policies into a unified architecture. Built on a hybrid Transformer framework with a shared mixed-attention mechanism, the system enables robots to understand environments, reason through tasks, execute actions and reflect on outcomes. ACE Robotics also introduced ACE-BRAIN-0.5 for spatial understanding, achieving state-of-the-art results across 12 public evaluations covering navigation, manipulation and task-progress assessment.
The company demonstrated commercial solutions including Xiaoman for instant retail fulfillment paired with the W1 robot, Xiaoxin for hotel laundry automation and Xiaotu for autonomous outdoor services. The Xiaoman solution has been deployed with Sense MartGo, Kuaikeda and PetroChina convenience stores, with plans to scale to 1,000 retail locations within the next year.
ACE Robotics also launched the Ambient Capture Engine 2.0 for collecting and processing high-density physical interaction data, featuring the ACE Ego Kit wearable system with tactile sensitivity of 0.01 newtons. The company announced the open release of ACE-Data-0, an L5 household-interaction dataset with high-precision annotations.
Through partnerships with Baidu AI Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud and SenseCore AI Cloud, ACE Robotics plans to expand its embodied AI ecosystem while scaling deployments across retail, hospitality and industrial environments.
