Unitree Robotics previews a new bipedal humanoid robot nicknamed 'Superman', demonstrating athletic performance designed to exceed established human limits. The prototype completes a two-metre standing high jump and reaches a top running speed of 12.66 metres per second (10m in 0.79s) with leg lengths measuring 0.85 metres. Unitree notes these results surpass global human records for standing high jumps and top sprint speeds. The company highlights that this early-stage development took slightly over three months, with further performance improvements expected as engineering and testing continue.
