FANUC showcases a robotic tote depalletizing system developed by authorized integrator Kaufman Engineered Systems for food packaging operations. A FANUC R-2000iC/165F robot uses iRVision 3DV technology to locate stacked plastic totes on incoming pallets. A custom end-of-arm tool picks the totes, while the robot orients and places them onto a conveyor. The totes are then singulated and returned to filling stations for reuse. The system automates tote recovery and recirculation, reducing manual handling and supporting consistent material flow to keep production filling lines supplied with totes.
