Savvy Robotics Launches BIOCLEAN ROBOT for Biopharmaceutical Automation

Savvy Robotics is advancing biopharmaceutical manufacturing automation with its BIOCLEAN ROBOT, a purpose-built robotic platform designed to operate inside highly controlled bio-production environments where conventional industrial robots face significant limitations.

Founded by former Hyundai Robotics engineers, Savvy Robotics is positioning itself as a specialist in bio-automation by developing robots that integrate cleanliness, sterilization, and waterproofing capabilities required for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The company aims to replace manual processes that depend heavily on skilled technicians while reducing operational risks and labor costs.

The BIOCLEAN ROBOT is designed to automate workflows including cell retrieval from incubators, culture media replacement, liquid dispensing, sample transfer, and quality control inspections. The platform features ISO Clean Class 4 cleanliness, IP67-rated water and dust resistance, NSF H1 food-grade lubrication, boltless exterior design, and integrated accessory architecture for improved contamination control.

These capabilities address the grease, particle, and sterilization challenges that prevent conventional industrial robots from operating in biopharmaceutical production environments.
