# Roborock is Rocking Life, Inside and Out at IFA 2025 with RockMow and RockNeo Lawn Mowers

September 4, 2025 (Berlin) – Roborock, widely known for its robotic vacuum cleaners, has expanded into the outdoor robotics market with the launch of its first robotic lawnmowers, the RockMow and RockNeo series, at IFA 2025. The announcement highlights the company’s ambition to bring AI-powered automation from indoors to outdoor environments.

“We are bringing our trusted home robotics expertise outdoors, delivering tailored solutions for lawns of all sizes and terrains,” said a Roborock spokesperson.

The new lineup includes three models: RockMow Z1, RockMow S1, and RockNeo Q1. These robotic mowers integrate advanced AI navigation, precise obstacle detection, and automated mowing schedules, making them suitable for a variety of residential landscapes. The devices feature technologies like RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) and VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to ensure accurate and safe lawn maintenance.

Key Highlights of the Launch

  • First robotic lawnmowers introduced by Roborock, expanding the company’s product range from indoor cleaning to outdoor lawn care.
  • RockMow Z1 features all-wheel drive for handling slopes, dynamic suspension for stability, and can mow up to 5,000 square meters daily.
  • RockMow S1 provides efficient mapping, personalized mowing schedules, and high-precision cutting for medium-sized lawns.
  • RockNeo Q1 is optimized for everyday lawn maintenance, with edge-cutting capabilities and AI-driven navigation for safe operation.
  • Incorporates RTK and VSLAM technologies for precise positioning and obstacle avoidance, ensuring efficiency and safety across different terrains.

Industry observers note that Roborock’s entry into outdoor robotics marks a strategic move to diversify its portfolio while leveraging AI-powered automation expertise. The launch positions the company to compete with established players in the robotic lawnmower market, such as Segway’s Navimow X3.

“By applying our indoor robotics knowledge to outdoor environments, we aim to simplify lawn care for consumers and set new standards for intelligent, automated solutions,” added the spokesperson.
