Epson Launches New Industrial Robots and Automation Software at Automation Expo Mumbai 2026

Epson has expanded its industrial automation portfolio by launching a new generation of industrial robots and software solutions at Automation Expo Mumbai 2026, reinforcing its focus on smart manufacturing and factory automation.

The company introduced the CX-A Series 6-axis robots, LS-C Series SCARA robots, RC+ 8.0 robot programming software, and showcased its SafeSense safety technology to support manufacturers across electronics, automotive, consumer goods, and precision engineering.

The newly launched CX-A Series enhances Epson's portfolio of 6-axis industrial robots by offering higher precision for complex manufacturing tasks. The robots support payloads up to 7 kg with a reach of 900 mm and come in standard, IP67, cleanroom, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) variants.

Epson also introduced the high-speed LS-C Series SCARA robots, supporting payloads up to 50 kg, a 1,000 mm reach, and cycle times as fast as 0.298 seconds for rapid component handling.

Complementing the hardware is RC+ 8.0, Epson's latest robot programming platform providing an integrated environment for programming, simulation, and system management. It supports integration with Visual Studio and C++ while featuring OPC UA connectivity, diagnostics, and GUI development tools.

Epson is also demonstrating its SafeSense technology, which incorporates Safety Limited Speed (SLS) and Safety Limited Position (SLP) functions to facilitate safer human-robot collaboration without extensive safety fencing.
