Ambi Robotics and Pickle Robot Integrate Physical AI for Warehouse Automation

Ambi Robotics and Pickle Robot Company have announced the successful integration of their Physical AI systems to automate warehouse receiving operations from trailer unloading through pallet stacking. Developed in response to demand from Fortune 500 retail and logistics companies, the combined solution delivers a continuous autonomous workflow for inbound package handling while leveraging existing warehouse infrastructure.
The deployment integrates Pickle Robot's automated trailer unloading technology with Ambi Robotics' AmbiStack AI-powered palletizing solution. Packages are unloaded from inbound trailers by Pickle Robot, transported via conveyor, and automatically identified, scanned and stacked by AmbiStack for downstream warehouse operations. The companies said customers can deploy the solution without significant facility redesigns, reducing implementation complexity while improving operational efficiency.
Jim Liefer, CEO of Ambi Robotics, stated:
"Warehouse operators shouldn't have to choose between best-in-class technologies and seamless integration. As Physical AI transforms supply chains, interoperability will become increasingly important. This deployment demonstrates that the next generation of warehouse automation will be built on interoperable Physical AI systems that combine specialized technologies to create greater value for customers."
AJ Meyer, Founder and CEO of Pickle Robot Company, stated:
"Customers want automation that improves real-world throughput while fitting into existing operations. This collaboration shows how robotic unloading can integrate seamlessly with downstream automation systems to help move goods more efficiently through the warehouse, and it sets the stage for orchestrating multi-robot processes that can self-improve and self-correct over time."
Both companies emphasized open interoperability rather than closed vendor ecosystems. By combining specialized robotic systems that solve the persistent dock door challenge within existing environments, the partnership demonstrates how Physical AI enables highly flexible warehouse automation.
