Addverb to Launch First Humanoid Robot by End of 2026

Addverb, the Noida-based robotics company backed by Reliance Industries, has announced an ambitious strategic roadmap to launch a fully two-legged, bipedal humanoid robot by the end of 2026. This move marks a significant commercial expansion beyond its traditional warehouse automation portfolio into an ecosystem experiencing rapid growth from artificial intelligence.
The company is preparing to start customer trials and localized proof-of-concept deployments next year before pursuing wide-scale commercialization. Addverb expects early market adoption to be driven primarily by factories, warehouses, e-commerce fulfillment centers, and fast-paced quick-commerce facilities. These automated machines will take over highly repetitive, physically demanding human workflows like picking, sorting, and complex material handling, directly helping enterprises mitigate acute labor shortages and high employee turnover rates.
The upcoming humanoid hardware architecture builds upon the technical foundations of Dynamoid, a unique mobile platform introduced earlier this year that balances a dexterous robotic upper torso with a highly agile autonomous mobile base. To fully support this intensive technological push, Addverb is actively seeking to raise $100 million in funding. A major share of this capital is earmarked for advanced internal research and development alongside strategic investments in early-stage startups working on critical component ecosystems.
While India remains a core market, Addverb anticipates near-term commercial demand will mature faster in developed economies, including the United States and Europe. Over the longer term, the firm envisions consumer-centric opportunities in elderly care, assistive service fields, and domestic home automation where humanoids can complete household chores like cleaning or kitchen assistance.
