UBTECH Opens World's First 10,000-Unit Humanoid Robot Factory in Liuzhou

ByMohammed Thaif

UBTECH has officially commenced production at its industrial humanoid robot super smart factory in Liuzhou, Guangxi, establishing the world's first manufacturing base with an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units.

The facility covers 14,000 square meters and manufactures Walker S Series and Cruzr Series embodied intelligence industrial robots, achieving a cadence of one completed unit rolling off the assembly line every 10 minutes.

Developed in collaboration with Siemens Digital Industries Software, the smart factory utilizes digital twin technology and the Yanshee MOM management system to enable flexible mixed-line manufacturing where "robots build robots."

On the factory floor, humanoid robots handle depalletizing, palletizing, and material loading, while collaborative robotic arms paired with 360-degree rotating workstations tighten over 2,000 distinct screws per unit.

AGV carts and unmanned forklifts manage material transport throughout the shop floor, transferring finished products to a fully automated three-dimensional warehouse for storage and dispatch.

Every robot produced carries a unique SN code, ensuring component sourcing, assembly parameters, and inspection records remain fully traceable throughout the product lifecycle.

This landmark facility marks a key transition for China's humanoid robotics industry from laboratory prototypes to standardized, digitized mass production.
