ByAyshathul Mushrifa

Pudu Robotics has showcased its complete commercial robotics portfolio at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai, including the global offline debut of its next-generation PUDU D7 semi-humanoid robot.

The Shenzhen-based robotics company demonstrated its expanding embodied AI ecosystem across service delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial logistics and general-purpose robotic applications. Pudu Robotics also received the 36Kr "Most Investor-Attractive AI & Embodied Intelligence Enterprise" award during the event.

The recognition highlights Pudu Robotics' continued development of commercial robotics solutions and growing presence in the embodied intelligence sector. The company has focused on transforming AI-powered robots from demonstration platforms into practical tools deployed across multiple industries.

The PUDU D7 semi-humanoid robot demonstrated multi-robot coordination capabilities by autonomously navigating exhibition spaces and guiding the PUDU D5 quadruped robot while avoiding pedestrian traffic. The PUDU D5 showcased advanced mobility with obstacle navigation across sand, gravel, steps and slopes, while reaching speeds of up to 5 m/s during live demonstrations.

Pudu Robotics also displayed its existing commercial robot portfolio, including the BellaBot service delivery robot, PUDU T300 industrial delivery robot, and PUDU MT1 Max and PUDU CC1 Pro cleaning robots. These platforms support applications across hospitality, retail, food service, manufacturing and warehousing.

According to a Frost & Sullivan report, Pudu Robotics accounts for 25 percent of global commercial service robotics revenue and 23 percent of shipments, ranking No. 1 worldwide in both categories. The company has maintained year-over-year revenue growth exceeding 100 percent, with international markets accounting for more than 80 percent of total revenue. Pudu Robotics also reported more than USD 300 million in cumulative funding, with over 130,000 robots deployed across more than 85 countries and regions.
