Pudu Robotics Launches PUDU MP2000 AI-Native Pallet Handling Robot

ByAyshathul Mushrifa

Pudu Robotics has launched the PUDU MP2000, an AI-native pallet handling robot designed to simplify autonomous floor-to-floor material transport across warehouses, logistics facilities and manufacturing environments.

The robot has a 2,000 kg payload capacity and is positioned as a standardized alternative to autonomous pallet-handling projects that can require extensive site preparation, dedicated infrastructure and complex integration.

PUDU MP2000 combines multi-sensor navigation, edge intelligence and AI-native perception. It can map operating environments and establish workflows without dedicated reflectors, QR codes or extensive site modifications, supporting rapid, minutes-level deployment.

The system supports common three-runner and perimeter-base pallets while adapting to customized, non-standard load carriers. Its onboard perception can recognize storage availability, identify load positions, compensate for pallet misalignment and assess load dimensions for clearance in constrained spaces.

For high-frequency material movement, PUDU says the robot can complete fork insertion in as little as 20 seconds, helping reduce pickup-cycle time and repeated positioning during warehouse and factory operations.

Safety capabilities combine 3D LiDAR, depth cameras and multi-sensor perception to detect low-profile, overhead, static and dynamic obstacles. The robot can respond to changing conditions as people, equipment and materials move through shared industrial environments.

PUDU MP2000 also uses distributed intelligence for individual decision-making and fleet-level coordination. Multiple robots can coordinate tasks, while fleet operation can continue in offline environments when external network connectivity is unavailable.

The launch expands Pudu Robotics' industrial portfolio beyond flexible mobile delivery into standardized pallet handling and heavier-load transport. Alongside the company's T Series AMRs, the MP2000 is intended to support workflows spanning loading docks, warehouses, line-side storage and production workshops.
