Pudu Robotics' PUDU D7 Named IFA Innovation Awards Honoree at IFA 2026

Pudu Robotics, a global leader in commercial service robotics, has announced that its PUDU D7 Semi-humanoid Intelligent Robot has been named an Honoree in the Best in IFA Next & Emerging Technologies category at the IFA Innovation Awards.

The recognition highlights the robot's ability to combine mobile navigation, dexterous manipulation, and intelligent sensing to perform complex tasks in real-world industrial and commercial operational environments.

Evaluated by an independent international jury, the IFA Innovation Awards assess candidates based on technology, functionality, originality, and the potential to create tangible value for market users.

Designed for industrial, warehouse, retail, and hospitality environments, the PUDU D7 can handle materials, pick items from shelves, replenish inventory, transport goods, and push carts with a payload capacity up to 20 kg (44.1 lbs) and an operating height reaching 2 meters.

In hospitality and retail settings, the robot can serve as an intelligent front-desk host, welcome visitors, prepare and serve coffee, and organize merchandise through natural human-robot interaction.

The system integrates a dual-arm manipulation system, tactile sensing, and a 360-degree perception system with front- and rear-facing LiDAR sensors, alongside autonomous battery swapping capabilities to minimize operational downtime.

IFA 2026 marks the European debut for PUDU D7, featuring live booth demonstrations of object handling, waving, and interactive gestures in Berlin, Germany.

The award accelerates Pudu Robotics' expansion from service delivery and cleaning robots into general embodied AI robotics, supported by its One Brain, Multiple Embodiments technology framework.
