NEURA Robotics Acquires ACTIVE Shuttle from Bosch Rexroth for Physical AI Ecosystem

ByAyshathul Mushrifa

NEURA Robotics is acquiring the ACTIVE Shuttle automated guided vehicle (AGV) platform from Bosch Rexroth, with the transition scheduled for October 1, 2026.

The acquisition expands the portfolio of NEURA Mobile Robots GmbH and supports NEURA Robotics' strategy of building an open European Physical AI ecosystem connecting different robotic systems and technologies.

ACTIVE Shuttle has established itself as a field-proven solution for automated material transport across industrial environments, including supplying assembly workstations and moving small load carriers in production and logistics operations.

NEURA Mobile Robots will take over both the hardware and software of ACTIVE Shuttle and will continue providing service and support for existing customers. The company says the transition is designed to ensure continuity and investment security while opening new development opportunities.

The platform will gradually be integrated into the NEURA Physical AI ecosystem with additional AI functions and interfaces to technologies across the NEURA Group. Existing technologies including the ACTIVE Fleet Manager and ROKIT navigation software will remain part of the solution.

In the longer term, these navigation and fleet management technologies are expected to become accessible through the Neuraverse ecosystem for additional NEURA robotics applications.

David Reger, Founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics, stated:

"Europe has an incredible wealth of robotics and industrial know-how. Our task now is to bring these technologies together into something bigger. Our goal is an open ecosystem in which mobile robots, industrial robots, and humanoids can work together on a shared infrastructure."

The acquisition strengthens NEURA Robotics' broader vision of connecting mobile robots, industrial robots, and humanoid systems through a shared Physical AI infrastructure.
