Nauticus Robotics Releases Nauticus ToolKITT Autonomy Suite for Existing ROV Fleets

Nauticus Robotics, Inc. has announced the commercial release of Nauticus ToolKITT, its vehicle-agnostic autonomy software suite for underwater vehicles, now available to fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, and defense contractors as a licensed product.

Nauticus ToolKITT is offered with its flagship Pilot Assist module, designed to assist rather than replace the pilot of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

The software holds the vehicle steady, compensates for ocean currents, and supports waypoint navigation while the ROV remains under human supervision, reducing pilot workload and improving mission margins.

The strategic proposition centers on retrofit capability rather than fleet replacement. ToolKITT layers autonomy onto existing subsea assets without replacing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) control systems.

Demonstrated on customer operations for several years, Nauticus reports that the software platform has improved subsea vehicle operating efficiency by greater than 20% during live missions.
