KUKA to Showcase End-to-End Automation Solutions for Metalworking at AMB 2026

KUKA will showcase its latest automation solutions for metalworking at AMB 2026 in Stuttgart from September 15 to 19, demonstrating intelligent robotics designed to optimize production processes along the entire value chain.

At Booth C51 in Hall 6, KUKA will exhibit end-to-end automation concepts that link individual production steps—from machine tool loading and unloading to workpiece transport, machining, and quality control—into efficient, interconnected manufacturing solutions.

Steffen Günther, Business Development Manager for Machine Tool Automation at KUKA, stated:

The company will present its new generation of robots, including the versatile KR CYBERTECH series, alongside the latest KR C5 and KR C5 micro robot controllers powered by the iiQKA.OS2 operating system, designed as an AI-ready platform for industrial automation.

The iiQKA.mxAutomation software interface enables seamless integration into existing machine control systems, while digital tools like iiQWorks.Sim support planning, virtual commissioning, and application optimization.

KUKA will feature collaborative demonstrations with several partners: BEC will showcase autonomous workpiece transport using the KMP 1500P mobile platform; MAIROTEC will present the MAIROFlex flexible cell for bin picking with computer vision and AI; wbt automation will exhibit the flexVise robot cell with the new KR AGILUS ultra for automating CNC machining centers; and Device Insight will demonstrate agent-based AI for malfunction analysis and troubleshooting assistance.
