John Deere Launches MB60 Material Boom for Precise Material Handling Operations

ByMohammed Thaif

John Deere has expanded its compact equipment attachment lineup with the launch of the John Deere MB60 Material Boom, designed for lifting and placing heavy or irregularly shaped materials in confined jobsite environments. The attachment targets landscaping, nursery, and general contracting operations.

The MB60 helps operators handle loads more precisely when buckets, forks, or grapples are less effective. It is compatible with John Deere skid steers, compact track loaders, and compact wheel loaders equipped with the appropriate coupler interface.

“The MB60 Material Boom is designed to make difficult lifts feel more manageable,” said Emily Pagura, marketing manager at John Deere. “It offers versatility and helps operators execute precise placement with greater confidence.”

The attachment features a 6,000-pound rated lifting capacity, providing strong performance across multiple lifting applications. Dual hook points offer flexible rigging configurations, allowing operators to adjust setups based on load size, shape, and balance requirements.

John Deere also focused on operator safety and usability in the MB60’s design. Serrated steps provide secure footing during ingress and egress, while the boom improves maneuverability and precise placement in tight or hard-to-reach work areas.

The launch reflects John Deere’s continued investment in compact equipment solutions that improve material handling efficiency and productivity. The MB60 is aimed at operators seeking adaptable lifting tools for demanding construction, landscaping, and industrial jobsite tasks.
