Hirebotics Launches No-Code Explosion-Proof Cobot Painter for Industrial Finishing

Hirebotics has introduced its new Cobot Painter, an explosion-proof collaborative robotic painting system designed to simplify industrial finishing through intuitive no-code automation models.
Built on the company's proprietary Beacon platform and powered by the FANUC CRX-10iA/L Paint hardware, the solution enables global manufacturers to automate delicate painting operations quickly.
This system completely eliminates the historical need for dedicated structural paint cells, high infrastructure overhead, complex custom scripting setups, or specialized on-site robotics engineering expertise.
Specifically optimized for high-mix, low-volume production operations, Cobot Painter allows metal fabricators to safely deploy autonomous spray sequences inside standard pre-existing manual spray booths within days.
Matt Bush, Co-founder and CEO of Hirebotics, stated:
"The Cobot Painter eliminates the need for dedicated paint cells and complex programming. By combining FANUC's world-class explosion-proof hardware with our intuitive, no-code Beacon platform, we've created an affordable, flexible finishing solution. Shops can now bring their coating in-house, deploy automation in days inside their existing booths, and deliver the flawless finishes their customers expect without a robotics specialist on staff."
Operators easily program spray paths using the platform's click-and-teach interface on a basic smartphone, allowing the multi-axis mechanical arm to precisely match critical velocity and thickness parameters.
Dave Wagenhauser, Manager of Paint Robot Sales at FANUC America, stated:
"Built on the CRX-10iA/L Paint cobot, the system brings the safety and precision of explosion-proof automation into standard manual coating environments. Our collaboration with Hirebotics further simplifies deployment and programming, helping manufacturers reduce integration complexity while accelerating flexible automation."
Hirebotics plans to update the core platform in future versions with continuous line-tracking capabilities, allowing the hardware to track and process items moving dynamically along factory conveyors.
