Hai Robotics Deploys 948 Robots for LPP Logistics E-Commerce Fulfillment

ByAyshathul Mushrifa

Hai Robotics has published a new case study detailing the deployment of 948 robotic systems at LPP Logistics' new e-commerce fulfillment center near Bucharest, Romania, supporting large-scale fashion retail operations across Southeastern Europe.

The automation project features the HaiPick System 3 solution, combining 278 HaiPick Automated Case-handling Robots (ACRs) with 670 Fast-transit Companion Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) to optimize storage, retrieval, and order fulfillment processes.

The system supports more than 625,000 storage locations and provides capacity for up to 7.5 million garments and accessories. The deployment enables LPP Logistics to expand fulfillment capabilities for growing online retail demand across Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, and Hungary.

Completed in less than six months, the robotic fulfillment solution delivers throughput of more than 9,400 totes per hour while improving warehouse efficiency and scalability for future business growth.

LPP Logistics manages supply chain operations for LPP Group, one of Central Europe's largest fashion retailers, operating brands including Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito, and Sinsay. The Bucharest-area facility serves as a key logistics hub for the company's expanding e-commerce network.

Peter Guan, General Manager EMEA at Hai Robotics, stated:

"LPP Logistics demonstrates how flexible warehouse automation can support the rapid growth of omnichannel retail. Together, we have created a scalable fulfillment platform that meets current operational needs while giving LPP Logistics the flexibility to expand as its business evolves."

The project highlights the growing adoption of robotics-driven warehouse automation among global retailers seeking higher efficiency, improved storage utilization, and adaptable fulfillment operations.

Hai Robotics continues expanding its automated storage and retrieval solutions across e-commerce, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics industries, with deployments across more than 40 countries and regions.
