GENISOM AI Showcases Quadruped and Embodied Intelligence Platforms at IROS 2026

GENISOM AI, a full-stack embodied AI company developing quadruped and humanoid robots, showcased its latest platforms and technologies at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh.
The company presented its quadruped robot dog platforms, joint modules, and open-source MATRiX 2.0 simulation platform. At the IROS 2026 Legged Robot Challenges, the Nanyang Technological University team took first place in the fully autonomous category using the GENISOM M1 quadruped robot.
GENISOM AI's embodied intelligence framework integrates Locomotion, Spatial, Interaction, and Swarm Intelligence. A key milestone is its Multi-Legged Collaborative Transport system, demonstrating multi-robot collaboration and collective behavior through coordinated movement and task execution.
At IROS 2026, GENISOM AI debuted Genisom L1 Maker, the World's First Industry-Grade Educational Quadruped for Hands-On Assembly and Development. Built on the mass-produced L1 platform, L1 Maker gives students and researchers access to assembly, system integration, calibration, motion control, and algorithm development.
The platform features 12 degrees of freedom, an 8 kg maximum payload, up to 40° slope climbing, and open hardware interfaces. Unlike basic educational kits focused only on programming, L1 Maker enables users to build, calibrate, and develop on a production-grade quadruped platform.
Supporting this hardware is MATRiX 2.0, an open-source robotics simulation platform designed for open-world simulation and multi-robot training prior to physical deployment.
University robotics teams continue testing GENISOM AI platforms at the IROS Legged Robot Challenge. Following Manchester's 2025 win on the L1, NTU won in 2026 by integrating autonomous perception, route planning, navigation, and robotic arm manipulation on the M1.
GENISOM AI has produced over 15,000 robots deployed across power, utilities, inspection, and security applications. Ahead of IROS 2026, the company completed a Series B round worth hundreds of millions of RMB led by UAE-based Stone Venture.
