Fruitcore Robotics Introduces Horst 600 G2 and Horst 800 G2 Industrial Robots

ByAyshathul Mushrifa

Fruitcore Robotics has introduced the Horst 600 G2 and Horst 800 G2 industrial robots, expanding its automation portfolio with two highly economical and versatile robot systems designed to meet widespread industrial manufacturing requirements.

The newly launched robots are built on a completely redesigned mechanical platform featuring an integral design without sheet metal covers, improving accessibility for maintenance and repair while reducing service complexity. This second-generation platform represents a significant technological advancement focused on durability, precision, and long-term operating efficiency.

Fruitcore Robotics completely re-engineered key components—including the mechanics, drives, bearings, and gearboxes—to maximize rigidity, positioning accuracy, and dynamic performance. Output-side encoder technology enables the robots to maintain precise positioning throughout their operational life without requiring re-learning. At the same time, optimized drivers, redesigned spherical bearings, and precision gearboxes significantly reduce backlash.

Patrick Heimburger, Managing Director of Fruitcore Robotics, explained:

“The ‘G2’ generation is a technological leap, not just an update. We have completely redesigned the mechanics, drives, bearings, and gearboxes. The result is robots that meet the highest standards in terms of rigidity and dynamics.”

The launch completes the transition of Fruitcore's entire robot portfolio to a platform engineered for a ten-year service life under three-shift industrial operation. Backed by a six-year drivetrain warranty, the system provides lower lifetime costs and high investment security. For physical tasks, the Horst 600 G2 offers a reach of 610 mm and a payload capacity of 7 kg with a repeatable accuracy of +/- 0.05 mm. The larger Horst 800 G2 variant provides an 840 mm reach with a payload capacity of 6 kg to reach deep into machine workspaces.

Equipped with Fruitcore's proprietary horstOS operating software, the systems feature integrated AI capabilities and voice control designed to simplify programming and operation. Additional features include flexible floor, ceiling, or angled mounting options, ISO 6 cleanroom certification, and up to IP65 protection on critical axes. This allows seamless integration into both sensitive and harsh environments, spanning machine tending, quality inspection, and pick-and-place operations.
