ENCY Software Releases ENCY 3.0 With AI Assistance and Smarter Robot Motion

ENCY Software has released ENCY 3.0, ENCY Robot 3.0 and ENCY Tuner 3.0, introducing updated machining strategies, automated robot motion, AI-assisted CAM functions and browser-based project collaboration.
ENCY Robot 3.0 expands Smart Motion for five-dimensional and six-dimensional operations. The software calculates robot trajectories without requiring a manually prepared axes map while accounting for joint limits, potential collisions and singularities.
The core ENCY 3.0 platform adds Tool Assemblies that combine holders, adapters and cutting components. Their complete geometry can be created and modified within the three-dimensional machining environment and used during simulation and collision checking.
New machining capabilities include Combo Finish, which combines Plane, Waterline and Scallop strategies, and a dedicated Blade Machining operation for airfoils, root zones, hubs and edges. ENCY also reworked its Swarf operation for five-axis flank milling.
CAM Agent (Beta), currently available in beta, accepts plain-language requests while a project is open. It can assist with feature recognition, tool selection, cutting conditions, operation creation, toolpath calculation and simulation troubleshooting, while leaving execution under user control.
The release introduces an Extension Store for installing and updating specialized add-ons. ENCY’s Digital Machine Center provides searchable postprocessors, machine kinematic models, NC interpreters and complete machine kits for specific CNC equipment.
ENCY Tuner 3.0 adds multi-part and multi-channel simulation alongside improved interpreters for HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 and FANUC 30i milling controls. ENCY Clouds now provides a redesigned browser viewer for models, tools, operations and machining parameters.
Additional updates cover feature recognition for laser cutting, radial slicing for additive manufacturing and automated sheet nesting. ENCY Software is demonstrating the new generation at IMTS 2026 in Chicago from September 14 through 19.
