AutoStore Signs Global Supply Agreement with Amazon for Warehouse Automation

AutoStore has signed a strategic supply agreement with Amazon, establishing a framework through which the e-commerce company can procure AutoStore automation systems globally.

The agreement defines commercial terms for future supply of AutoStore products and solutions, potentially expanding the relationship between two major companies in warehouse automation and e-commerce fulfillment.

However, AutoStore clarified that the agreement does not include any current commitment from Amazon to purchase a specific quantity of equipment.

"Whilst the Agreement defines the terms for further procurement of AutoStore systems by Amazon, it does not contain any purchasing commitments at this time."

No financial terms, order volumes, deployment locations, or installation timelines were disclosed. The agreement creates a structured procurement framework that could support future AutoStore system deployments without requiring the companies to renegotiate core terms for each purchase.

AutoStore develops automated storage and retrieval systems where robots operate on top of dense aluminum storage grids, retrieving inventory bins and delivering them to workstations for picking and replenishment operations.

The Norwegian company has expanded its presence as retailers, logistics providers, and manufacturers adopt high-density automated fulfillment solutions. AutoStore reports approximately 2,000 systems installed across 68 countries.

The company describes its technology approach as Intelligent Fulfillment, combining automation, software, and AI-based capabilities to optimize warehouse operations.
