Arvato and Geek+ Elevate Poland Logistics Hub with Flexible Rack-To-Person Robotics

Arvato & Geek+

December 2, 2025 (Poland) – Global warehouse robotics leader Geek+ and logistics service provider Arvato have jointly elevated automation at Arvato’s major logistics hub in Poznań, Poland with the deployment of an advanced Rack-To-Person robotics system designed to boost operational efficiency and support rapid volume growth in e-commerce fulfillment.

The newly implemented solution, powered by a fleet of Geek+ P800 picking robots, brings entire rack units directly to ergonomically designed workstations. This Rack-To-Person automation significantly accelerates the order picking process, reduces walking distances for staff, and allows for higher-density storage arrangements that optimize space utilization within the facility.

“With this new system in Poznań, we’re strengthening our ability to respond quickly to our clients’ growth while giving our teams modern tools that make daily operations faster, safer, and more reliable,” said Lidia Ratajczak-Kluck, Managing Director of Arvato in Poland, emphasizing that flexible automation is central to the company’s strategy as a third-party logistics provider.

Key Highlights of the Rack-To-Person Deployment

  • Enhanced picking efficiency enabled by mobile robotics that deliver racks directly to operators
  • Improved ergonomics and safety through reduced physical strain on warehouse staff
  • Optimized storage density, supporting more agile inventory management
  • Scalable automation architecture that can grow with fluctuating demand
  • A strategic response to rapid e-commerce market growth in Poland and Central Europe

From a broader industry perspective, Poland has emerged as a key logistics hub within Europe, with providers like Arvato increasingly investing in mobile robotics and automated systems to stay competitive amid fast-evolving supply chain demands. This deployment exemplifies how third-party logistics firms can leverage next-generation technologies to deliver higher service levels and adapt more swiftly to market dynamics.

“Arvato’s Poznań site is a great example of how mobile robotics can unlock new levels of performance for 3PLs,” noted Rafal Sek, Sales Manager for Poland at Geek+, highlighting the flexibility of rack-to-person systems that enables logistics providers to expand robot fleets and workstations incrementally without major structural changes.

As automation becomes increasingly central to supply chain modernization, partnerships between robotics innovators and logistics operators are set to accelerate, reshaping the future of fulfillment operations across Europe and beyond.
